HIROMI TAKAHASHI TRADITION YANG STYLE TAI CHI CHUAN STUDIO

You are welcome if you have the spirit to want to learn Tai-Chi. At this studio, we seek sincere effort and an understanding that we can always do better. We are appreciative of what we are able to do now.

What is clear in the mind will come out in the movements. We are not all the same. Tai Chi enables us to clarify the uncertainty within us. Be patient with yourself.

Tai Chi can be confusing, What is substantial and what isn't? It is always about becoming something, whether it's relaxed, calm, steady, etc.

We are her to have FUN! There is no end to this journey and we allow ourselves to go as far as we want to go. The power is inside you.

HIROMI TAKAHASHI

"Through Tai Chi, you are giving yourself a different point of view of your body."

Hiromi Takahashi teaches yang-style Tai Chi Chuan, one of the most popularly and widely-practiced form of martial arts in the world.

Located on the second floor of a building on the busy Whyte Avenue strip, Hiromi’s Tai Chi Studio passes on the knowledge Hiromi has accrued since he began studying the art in the 1980s: “I was taught to be sensitive and aware, and that is what I teach,” he says.

Hiromi started his studio in 1995, with the current location open since 2012. He sees a wide range of ages signing up to learn the many movements that contribute to healthy study.
